Heading out of town for the holiday weekend?
Want to ring it in with a celebratory seasonal crostini?? Perfect with a glass of Blanc de Blanc!
What makes up this July 4th weekend crostini?
Fresh Blueberries
Fresh Rosemary
Delice de Bourgogne
EVOO
Sel de la Guerande
Toasted Baguette
Delice de Bourgogne is the most fabulously unctuous and luscious cheese from Burgundy. Pure butter and cream and the perfect decadence for a long weekend out of town.
A simple preparation -- Spread a nice amount of cheese onto your toasted baguette and top with fresh rosemary and the blueberries. Drizzle a little bit of EVOO and sprinkle some sel de la guerande over the top. Quick and delish! A great fresh way to ring in the weekend!
A site dedicated to educating, experimenting, exploring, and of course eating all types of cheese.
